Shirdi Sai Mandir was established as a non-profit organization in 2006 in a leased premises and initially the temple was being run by volunteers and later on in 2008 a priest was hired to perform the services to Baba. 11 acres of land was acquired in 2012 and the Mandir was moved to the permanent site in June 2013 with an elaborate 3 day sthapana ceremony. Today the temple is open 7 days a week and all 4 Aarathis are performed to Baba.
The existing structures on the land acquired have been renovated to accommodate Babas Dwarakamayi and the vision is to build a permanent mandir with the blessings of Baba and support of the devotees by 2018 on the eve of the 100th year of Baba Mahasamadhi
